Orbit III
Orbit III is a sculptural exploration of structure, balance, and light, expressed through a radial composition centred around a vivid green tourmaline.
Surrounding the centre stone, layers of precisely set stones extend outward in a controlled yet dynamic formation. The arrangement creates a sense of movement and rhythm, drawing the eye across each orbit while maintaining clarity and cohesion.
Rather than a conventional trilogy, the concept is interpreted through repetition and spatial relationships — where each element exists in dialogue with the centre, forming a unified and intentional structure.
This piece was awarded Highly Commended at the Gem Set Competition Scotland 2025, recognising both its technical precision and its distinctive design approach.

Monolith
Monolith is a singular object defined by uniformity, precision, and total surface integration.
Across all six faces, stones are flush-set into the form, creating a continuous and uninterrupted field. Each element is embedded within the structure, dissolving the boundary between surface and material.
The object resists hierarchy. There is no front, no focal point — only a complete and self-contained presence. Subtle shifts in light activate the surface, revealing depth within its apparent stillness.
Monolith exists as a unified whole, where repetition becomes structure and accumulation becomes identity.

Overloaded
Overloaded explores density, repetition, and surface through a continuous field of closely set stones.
Encircling the entire band, the composition creates a tactile, almost seamless surface where individual elements merge into one unified form. Without a single focal point, the piece is experienced as a whole — defined by its intensity, texture, and presence.
This work reflects an exploration of excess as a deliberate design language, where accumulation becomes expression.

Peacock Flow
Inspired by the elegance and movement of a peacock, this piece explores form beyond traditional symmetry.
Rather than following a conventional ring structure, the design extends outward in a fluid, expressive composition — capturing a sense of motion, lightness, and rhythm. The flowing elements echo the fan-like display of a peacock’s feathers, while the arrangement of stones enhances this sense of movement and direction.
This piece reflects a more artistic and experimental approach, where form is guided not by rules, but by expression.

Molten Blossom
This piece was created by Po using the wax carving technique, a process that allows forms to grow intuitively and organically.
Inspired by cherry blossoms and natural forms, the ring embraces irregularity and fluidity rather than symmetry. Each curve and texture reflects a spontaneous dialogue between material and maker, capturing a sense of movement and life.
Po is particularly drawn to wax carving for its freedom — a way of shaping pieces that feel less constructed and more discovered. This work reflects her fascination with organic structures and her ongoing exploration of nature-inspired jewellery.

Luminous Frame
A bespoke piece centred around a moonstone provided by the client, chosen for its soft, luminous sheen.
The client expressed a desire to move away from a traditional round silhouette, instead seeking a design that would better accentuate the unique presence of the moonstone. In response, we developed a framed structure that enhances the stone’s natural glow while giving the piece a more distinctive and contemporary form.
To complement the moonstone’s colour and gentle iridescence, we sourced four pear-shaped moissanites in a light purple tone — reflecting the client’s preference while adding a subtle layer of contrast. Diamonds were then carefully set to introduce brilliance and structure, completing the composition without overpowering the centre stone.
This piece reflects a collaborative process, balancing the client’s vision with our approach to form, proportion, and detail.
